We started this because getting paid should not require a spreadsheet, a stack of paper invoices, or a $50/month tool built for enterprises with an accounts payable department.

BillyPaid is a simple invoicing and payment-management tool for freelancers, trades, and small businesses. You create an invoice, estimate, or quote in a couple of minutes, send it, and get notified the moment your client pays.

Built for the business that just needs to get paid

Most invoicing software is either too basic (a plain PDF you fill in by hand every time) or too complex (built for finance teams, not the person actually doing the work). Neither is great for a freelancer sending five invoices a month or a trades business quoting jobs from a van.

BillyPaid asks the right questions once, your business details, your client, what you’re billing for, and reuses everything the next time. It is not accounting software. It is the fastest path from finishing a job to getting paid for it.

  • Estimate - a good-faith figure before the scope is locked in

  • Receipt - automatic proof of payment, no extra step
  • Credit note - a clean way to correct an invoice or issue a refund
  • Recurring invoice - retainers and subscriptions billed on autopilot

We also cover longer-tail documents, payment reminders, purchase orders, delivery notes, time and materials invoices, proforma invoices, and statements of account, for businesses that need them.

Why we built it

Chasing payment is the least favorite part of running a small business, and it’s usually a process problem, not a people problem: no payable link, no reminder system, no single place to see who owes what. BillyPaid fixes the process so you can spend less time on admin and more time on the work.
